Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a surprising delight! The location is superb, just a stone's throw from a beautiful marina and the largest manmade lake in Illinois. The cabin we rented had its charm, but it was unfortunately overshadowed by cleanliness issues and outdated furnishings. The atmosphere was relaxing, and it felt like a little retreat away from the city. Overall, the experience was a mixed bag with a great setting but room for improvement.
My stay at this resort was far from what I had hoped for. While the location was convenient and the ambiance had potential, the cleanliness and service issues were major letdowns. I appreciated the effort from the staff, but their disorganization really impacted my experience. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend staying here again unless significant improvements are made.
I had a wonderful experience at this hidden gem! The resort is beautifully maintained and offers a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was beyond accommodating, and my cabin was neat and comfortable. The only downside was the Wi-Fi connection, which was a bit slow, but everything else made up for it. Overall, it's a fantastic place to unwind and recharge.
My stay at this hotel was very disappointing, mainly due to the unprofessional behavior of the manager and the musty smell in the room. However, the convenience of being near the lake and the decent breakfast options offered were redeeming features. I felt unsafe at times during my visit, which overshadowed the few positives.
