Delicious Breakfast Spread

The breakfast at Mariner's Village was a good start to my day! They offered a nice selection including bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, and muffins, along with fresh fruit and coffee. I was pleasantly surprised at how well-stocked everything was despite the busy morning rush. It was the perfect way to fuel up before a day of exploring.

Spacious Cabin Retreat

I stayed in one of the cabins overlooking the pond, and it was fantastic! The cabin was roomy enough for three adults, and the front porch with lawn chairs and a fire pit provided the perfect spot to enjoy the scenic views. I loved waking up to the sunrise reflecting on the lake. The amenities in the cabin, such as the kitchenware and appliances, made for a comfortable stay.

Well-Maintained Pool Area

Although I didn't get to use the pool during my stay, it was well-kept and inviting. I could see families enjoying the area despite it being closed for cleaning due to weather. It looked like a great spot to unwind after a day on the lake. I appreciated how the hotel took cleanliness seriously, especially in common areas like this.

Convenient Meeting Room

For a family reunion event, we utilized the conference center at Mariner's Village, and it exceeded our expectations. The space was clean, well-stocked with necessary supplies, and served our needs perfectly for our catered dinner. It was also convenient being able to heat food in the cabins and transport it just a short distance to the conference room. I found the overall layout and services to be very accommodating.

My stay at the hotel was a surprising delight! The location is superb, just a stone's throw from a beautiful marina and the largest manmade lake in Illinois. The cabin we rented had its charm, but it was unfortunately overshadowed by cleanliness issues and outdated furnishings. The atmosphere was relaxing, and it felt like a little retreat away from the city. Overall, the experience was a mixed bag with a great setting but room for improvement.

My stay at this resort was far from what I had hoped for. While the location was convenient and the ambiance had potential, the cleanliness and service issues were major letdowns. I had a wonderful experience at this hidden gem! The resort is beautifully maintained and offers a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was beyond accommodating, and my cabin was neat and comfortable. The only downside was the Wi-Fi connection, which was a bit slow, but everything else made up for it. Overall, it's a fantastic place to unwind and recharge.

My stay at this hotel was very disappointing, mainly due to the unprofessional behavior of the manager and the musty smell in the room.
